An alumnus at the Ghetto Film School, Shomi Owodunni is a versatile creative, excelling as a writer, production designer, and director.

As a writer, Shomi's portfolio includes the self-directed short film, "Yours Sincerely," and her upcoming documentary, "The Digitalised Body of Christ," slated for release in late 2025. Her scripts are characterized by visually rich narratives that delve into the untouched intricacies of history and human connection.

Her keen eye for detail and proactive approach, honed during her film studies, led her to specialize in production design. Notably, she served as production designer on two projects in partnership with the National Film Television School (NFTS), and later, on her graduate International Thesis Film, "The Problem with Black Pete," shot in Amsterdam and premiered at Bloomberg.

Building on her academic foundation—a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media and Creative Industries from the University of Warwick—Shomi has broadened her practical experience as a production assistant on diverse projects. Her recent role at Dimension Studios exposed her to the cutting-edge realm of virtual production, solidifying her commitment to staying at the forefront of film and television innovation.
